BioI’m Jan Rudat, a multiple-published author writing exclusively in English. I have published four books: two hardcover volumes of modern eldritch fiction and two works of nonfiction.
My fiction explores impersonal horror, perceptual failure, psychological strain, and the unsettling possibility that reality operates according to structures fundamentally indifferent to human understanding. My nonfiction examines endurance, cognition, human behavior, and the ways people continue functioning under prolonged pressure.
My current projects include a third volume of eldritch short fiction, a hyper-realistic novel, and a cyberpunk novel accompanied by an upcoming cookbook that expands its setting through the food, culture, and material life of its world.
Outside literature, I am the founder and President of the Church of Arx Nobilis™, an incorporated, federally tax-exempt U.S. church whose doctrine explores mortality, transformation, metaphysics, and the disciplined confrontation of human finitude.
